Alice was born and raised in Southeast Washington. She married Alton L. Highsmith and lived in Oxon Hill, MD. Alice worked as a school bus driver for the Prince George's County school system for over 25 years. She is survived by her son Alton Highsmith, daughter Joanne Wright, grandson Jason Wright, and greatgrandchildren Alaya and Oakley Wright.
