Barbara Maske

June 22, 1937 — December 27, 2017

Barbara J. Maske, 80, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Rehoboth, DE, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, in her daughter’s home, in Seaford, DE. Mrs. Maske was preceeded in death by her husband of 32 years, William C. Maske, her daughter Martha Hagenbach, her stepdaughters Janice Wolf (Bill) and Vicky Wonders, and stepson William Lewis. She is survived by her sister, Vera Jean McVay, her brother, Leonard Pearo, her children Debra Shockley (Thomas), Terry Hermanson (Lloyd), Russell Lewis, and stepchildren Sally Radich (Chris), William Maske, Carl Maske (Cindy), Phyllis Sevik (Ken) and Gary Maske, 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Maske was a bookkeeper for many years before retiring. Over the last few years, she enjoyed volunteering as a driver for seniors and the visually impaired, keeping them connected to their community. She loved golf, traveling, and being with friends and family.  She will be missed by many.

Friends and family may call  from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, January 3rd, at Gasch’s Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD 20781. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 4th, at 11:00 a.m. at Gasch’s Funeral Home, P.A. with interment to follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722.
