Carl Douglas Poppe

On March 4th, 2024 in Alexandria, VA. He was 71. A beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He is survived by two brothers, James Poppe and Mark Poppe, two sisters, Donna Poppe Wagner and Carol Poppe, His many nephews and nieces, his friends and neighbors. Loving son of the late William Lawrence and Mary Louise Poppe. Carl Douglas was a lifelong passionate fan of trains, fishing and camping. His family and friends will surely miss him greatly.  Rest in peace brother. 

 A viewing will be held on March 13th, 2024 at 11am to 12:30pm at Gasch’s Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore  Avenue, Hyattsville,  MD. Burial will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery at 1pm.
