Catherine Adelaide Sauls

Catherine “Cathy” Adelaide Sauls, age 95, died on January 1st, 2023, at Citizens Nursing Home in Frederick, MD. She was the wife of Dewy Franklin Sauls who died in 2002.

Cathy was born on March 4^th, 1927, to the late Edgar Morris Poole, Sr. and Harriet Norris Chase Poole. She was the last of her immediate family.

Cathy enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, and dabbling in poetry. She and her husband liked to travel and visit family and friends.

She was predeceased by siblings Ella, Firman, William, Edgar, Jr., David, Esther, Blanche and Margaret. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14^th, 2023 at 10am at Trinity United Methodist Church at 703 West Patrick Street, in Frederick, MD. A funeral service will follow at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, Cathy requested donations be made to the Alzheimers or Parkinson’s Associations.
