On Saturday, March 31, 2007, long time resident of Lanham, Maryland, beloved husband of Mae Carey; loving father of Michael (Dorothy), Brad (Patsy), Steve, Debbie (Jim) and Allan. He is also survived by one sister Cecelia Righter, Colonial Beach, Virginia; one brother James Carey (Pat) of Ocean View, Delaware; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, Maryland, on Tuesday, April 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, 11 a.m. at Lanham United Methodist Church, 5512 Whitefield Chapel Road, Lanham, Maryland. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to lanham United Methodist Church.
