Daniel Díaz-Chicas

Daniel "Dan" Antonio Díaz-Chicas, 64, of Lanham, Maryland, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home.  Daniel is survived by his previous wife, Patricia Ann Díaz, and their 4 children, Daniel Rife (son), Leticia Díaz (daughter), Diana Mendez (daughter), Jonathan Díaz (son) as well as 16 loving grandchildren, 9 siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Daniel was born in Ahuachapn, El Salvador on August 19, 1954 to Felicito and Ana Yolanda.  He is the oldest of 12 siblings.  As a teenager he moved to the United States to find work and help his family in El Salvador. He learned several trades from construction to truck driving.  He enjoyed reading books to broaden his knowledge.  He loved spending time with is family especially his grandchildren.  He was spiritual and liked to attend Catholic Church.
