David Lakomyj

David Alexander Lakomyj age 44 died on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at
University of MD Prince Georges Hospital. He is survived by his wife Katie and his
fur baby Simba; parents Alexander and Patricia; siblings Lauri, Deborah (Dwane),
Michael (Gail) and Jonathan; and many nieces and nephews.
He was born on Nov 8, 1975 in Washington D.C. He grew up in Bladensburg and
was a proud graduate of DeMatha, class of 1993. He was a passionate sports fan.
He was knowledgeable about each and every sport. He loved the Utah Jazz, the
Caps, the Orioles, the Terps, and even the “Dead”skins.
He was a family man who loved spending time with his nieces, nephews and
friends who he considered his family too. He was an avid traveler and loved going
to Vegas with Katie. He was always the life of the party and made everyone laugh.
To know Dave was to love Dave. He will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held at Monday, January 20, 2020 at
Gasch’s Funeral Home
