"You know I really picked a good family ".  These words spoken by my Granddaddy just a month ago..........

I'd like to think God had a plan when he put Donald in the path of Mary Jane in 1959, at the Dixie Pig in Cottage City, Maryland. Donald and Mary Jane married in 1962. At this time, Donald chose to adopt Mary Jane's daughter, Debbie. Donald and Mary Jane were married for 57 years. My Mother had her Father for 57 years and I had my Granddaddy for 47 years. He was indeed a man of many hats and very dedicated to family and friends. He and Mary Jane will be truly missed, but they are together forever now......
