Dorothy "Dottie" Fratturelli

Dorothy “Miss Dottie” M. (Anderson) Fratturelli, 77, of Landover Hills, died at home on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. 

Dorothy was born on January 24, 1947 to the late Edward and Eva (Burnett) Anderson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner, Herman Lucas, and her sisters, Barbara Richards and Patricia Norris. Dorothy is survived by her sister, Mary Cardello, her son, Ronald Foster, and his wife, Lesley, her daughter, Deborah Fratturelli and her four grandchildren, Anthony Fratturelli, and his fiancé, Lauren Iarossi, Alexandra Foster, Gabriella Foster and Victoria Foster. Also, many nieces and nephews. 

Dorothy had a special place in her heart for her ex-husband, Ron Fratturelli, and former in laws, the late John and Livia Fratturelli, Lee and Kevin Callinan and John Fratturelli. Dorothy was an avid bingo player and enjoyed watching sports: she was a lover of baseball and football. She also enjoyed spending time with her parakeets, Alita, Isis, Sun, Moon, Star. 

At this time her family would like to thank her dearest friends and caregivers who assisted in providing care and support to Dorothy during her time in Maryland especially during her final days. 

Funeral arrangements are in the process of being finalized. The family will have a private memorial and burial at a later date in Leominster, Massachussetts. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dottie's name to Prince George’s County Animal Control Services Facility, 3750 Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
