On November 9, 2011 of Hyattsville, MD. Beloved wife of Laurence Hinds. Loving mother of Nancy Patton and her husband Steven. She is survived by a step daughter Kathy Divver, 3 step grandchildren, John Patton, Elizabeth Henry and Laura McDowell, a step great-granddaughter Caylee McDowell and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Stephen Miller. Family will receive visitors at GASCH'S FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 4739 BALTIMORE AVE., HYATTSVILLE, MD on Monday, November 14 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm where a DAV Auxiliary memorial service will be held at 8 pm to honor Edith who served as State Commander of the DAV Auxiliary. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 15 at 11:00 am in the Little Church at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Maryland Center for Veterans Education and Training (MCVET) 301 North High Street, Baltimore, MD 21202
