Elizabeth Blaine

Elizabeth grew up in York, PA right next to the railroad where her father was an engineer. Born August 30, 1922, she met the love of her life, Lamdin "Fred" Blaine, at a roller rink in 1942. They married in 1945 and moved to Washington, DC where she loved and supported him through ambitions to become a physicist with NASA. After 68 years of marriage, today he misses her terribly. She passed to a better place on February 25, 2013. She proudly raised, and is survived by, three children: Cynthia, Robert, and Leslie Blaine. Four young girls, Abby, Hailey, Hannah and Sydney, will always remember their loving grandma. Visitation will be held on February 28 from 10 to 11 am at Riderwood Chapel, 3120 Gracefield Rd, Silver Spring, MD where funeral services will follow at 11 am. Burial on Friday March 1 in Airville, PA.
