Elizabeth Garrison

On April 14, 2008 deceased at Holy Cross Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Burtonsville, MD. Daughter of the late Luis and Anne Granados; beloved wife of the late Preston Garrison; mother of John Kernan (Dianne) of San Diego, CA, Richard Garrison (Debra) of Phoenix, AZ, Kathleen Buckley (Mark) of Columbia, MD, Michael Garrison (Juanita) of Dagsboro, DE, and Mindi Burgoyne (Dan) of Marion Station, MD; sister of Luis Jr. (Anne) Granados, Joseph (Louise) Granados, Francis (Star) Granados, Marie Shugart, and the late Robert (Marie) Granados; grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth retired from Art Display Company as chief bookkeeper. She was a talented musician, active in the choir at St. Bernard's Church in Riverdale, serving both as an organist and vocalist. Family will receive friends at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Thursday, April 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Bernard's Church on Friday, April 25 at 10 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery on May 13 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Josephs Indian School, Chamberlain, SD 57326, 605-234-3300, www.stjo.org.
