On Wednesday, March 25, 2015, of Hyattsville, MD. Beloved husband of Lillian A. Payne. Loving father of Kenneth (Tammy) Payne and Linda M. (Gordon) Cruse. Cherished grandfather of Bernard Jr. (Jayme), Jessica, Kevin, Patrick (Brittany), and three great-grandchildren. Devoted brother of Lee Roy (Mae) Payne, Helen V. McMillan, and Joe D. Payne. He is also survived by many loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Bernard C. Payne, and his brothers John and Pat Payne. Family and friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD 20781 on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 2-9 pm where funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11 am. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Heartland Hospice, 12304 Baltimore Ave., Beltsville, MD 20705.
