Emily Louise Booth, 85, of Greenville, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on December 12, 2022, surrounded by her family and loving caregivers after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born on June 1, 1937 in Singerly, VA, Emily was a loving daughter, adored wife, beloved mother, cherished grandmother, dear aunt and treasured friend. Emily was predeceased by her parents, Benny and Mamie Oliff, siblings Roy, Virginia, Harold, Wallace, Gertrude, and Denny, and her husband "Junior". Emily is survived by her brother Steve Oliff, daughter Patricia and son-in-law David McCord, son Les Booth and daughter-in-law Marci, granddaughters Ariel McCord and Olivia Booth, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service, Tuesday December 20, 2022 at 2:00pm, in the Last Supper Garden at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD, as was her wish. A celebration of life ceremony will be scheduled and announced for a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Emily`s memory may be sent to Hospice of the Upstate, or The Legacy Fund - The Woodlands at Furman, or Alzheimer's Association. South Carolina arrangements were entrusted to Travelers Rest Funeral Home. Maryland arrangements have been entrusted to Gasch’s Funeral Home.
