Ernest Mueller

On Sunday, March 27, 2011 of Hyattsville, MD. He was the husband of 58 years to the late Inez Lyday Mueller. He is survived by his children, John F. Mueller and Linda M. Speakes; son-in-law John A. Speakes; grandchildren, Megan E. and Zachary A. Speakes; nephew, Frank Steckline and niece, Margaret Sherwood and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. He was a firefighter with the D.C.F.D. for 25 years. He was awarded in 1942 the Commissioners' Gold Medal for meritorious service involving danger to life in line of duty. The family will receive friends at GASCH'S FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD on Thursday, March 31 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A service will be held on Friday, April 1 at 11 am at Gasch's. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to your favorite charity.
