Evelyn Rosnick

May 25, 1916 — January 20, 2013

A longtime resident of Bell Meade, MD, Evelyn P. Rosnick, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 20, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Norman M. Rosnick; loving mother of Colette (Terry) Mirachi, Norman (Susann) Rosnick, Kim Rosnick and Natalie Fowler; dear sister of Ron Wheatley. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Rachel (Anthony) Pasco, Cherie (Mike) Case, Brian Rosnick, Amie Haley and Joshua Fowler and three great grandchildren, Rabecca Scott, Madisyn Kuhn-Miller and Thomas Miller. A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, she spent many hours making crafts and collecting baby items for Catholic Charities. She was a faithful supporter of her family's activities and always had a smile and a kind word. She could out shop her daughters and granddaughters and loved quilting, sewing and needlework. The family will receive friends at GASCH'S FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, February 5th at 10:30am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 7207 Annapolis Road, Landover Hills, MD. Interment Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Department, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, , Memphis, TN 38148.
