A resident of Berwyn Heights, MD passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his home at the age of 83. Frank was born on December 9, 1930 in Palisades Park, NJ and was the 6th of 12 children born to the late Frank and Amelia Morris. Frank served 4 years active duty in the US Navy, 4 years in the US Naval Reserve and was honorably discharged. After his return to civilian life, he began a long career as an electrician and member of IBEW #26. Once he retired, he took up small engine repair and became known as the lawnmower repair man. Frank was a proud and active member of BPOE 1778 for 52 years where he served as Trustee Emeritus. Frank was preceded in death by an infant son, Frank Louis Morris, Jr., and the person he called the love of his life, wife Nancy. He is survived by 5 loving children and 3 loving stepchildren Gene F. Morris (Sue), John M. Morris (Debbie), James D. Morris (Kathy), Patricia A. DeGraff (Duane), Patrick W. Morris (Pam), Carl E. Harkleroad (Judy), Carol A. Gilliam, Kim M. Saunders (Larry), and 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. The family will receive visitors at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Friday, March 28 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. BPOE 1778 will conduct a Lodge of Sorrows at the funeral home at 7 pm on March 28. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 29th at 10 am at Gasch's, followed by interment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his name to your favorite charity.
