Gladys Little

Gladys Virginia Little, 98, of Hyattsville, MD., peacefully passed away on September 28, 2016 at Hillhaven Nursing Home in Adelphi, MD. She was born April 11, 1918 in Derwood, MD. She was a homemaker and her joys were interior decorating, gardening, and being with her family. She and her husband, William F. Little, owned and operated Chillum Liquors in Chillum, MD during the 1950's, 60's and early 70's. She is preceded in death by her husband, her mother, Cora Lee Thompson, brothers Lawrence Thompson and Albert Thompson, and sister Mary I. Nebel. She is survived by her nephew and wife, William T. and Arlene Nebel of Shepherdstown, WV, a niece, Joan H. Sounders of Valrico, FL., two great nieces, one great nephew, two great-great nephews, four great-great nieces, four great-great nephews, and one great-great-great niece. A private memorial service will be held at a later date
