Glenn “Woody” Reinhardt (76) of Riverdale, MD. Passed September 14, 2023. Woody was born on August 8, 1947 to Mike and Ruth Reinhardt. He was raised in Cheverly, MD and attended Cheverly Tuxedo Elementary, Bladensburg Junior High and graduated from Bladensburg Senior High School.
Woody was called to serve upon his country by the Army on November 17, 1966 and served proudly returning home to us on August 6, 1968.
Woody worked for Parsons Paper Company, then went on to a wonderful career with Pepco until he retired.
Woody was a descendant of The Chickahominy Tribe of Charles City Virginia and was proud of his heritage. Woody was a member of the American Legion in Cheverly, MD and served on the Executive Committee. Woody was very involved with family, friends and community. He made friends everywhere he went. He was a man of few words but you always knew where you stood with Woody.
Woody loved spending time with family and friends, car and drag races, baseball and everything football and enjoyed collection memorabilia he had a true knack for finding money.
Woody is survived by his five siblings, Shirley Lacey (Thomas), Phyllis Stump (Tim), Paul Reinhardt, Wayne Reinhardt and Rosemarie Desimone (Mark). He is also survived by two nephews, and three nieces; Natalie, Brittany, Ashley, Bradley and Colin.
