Hazel Travers

On June 27, 2008, Hazel Travers passed away at the age of 94. Mrs. Travers grew up on her parent's dairy farm in Silver Spring, MD. She was a resident of College Park, MD for 74 years, where she assisted her late husband, W. Russell "Buck" Travers, with his Insurance Brokerage. She is the mother of Constance "Connie" Gasch, Lynda Lee Varda, Russell Spencer Travers J.D., Ph.D. and his wife, Rose Travers, J.D.; sister of Mary Lou Esherick, grandmother of Coni Lynn Gasch, Marc (Tammy) Kenty, Claudette (Bill) Gasch Lanning, Lexa (Brian Schoonmaker) Travers, Matthew (Patrice) Craig and Zoe Travers; great-grandmother of Ryan, Brandon, David, Scott, Tiffany, Carson, Spencer, Gavin, Marina, Julian, Jadyn, Jonah, Justin, Zachary, Sebastien and Zoe. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Arundel, her daughter Patricia and son-in-law Robert "Butch" Kenty, and two grandsons, Scott Kenty and Billy Gasch.
