On April 21, 2025, of Berwyn Heights, MD. Loving father of Kimberly Kiernan, James A. Kiernan and his wife Paula, and Michelle Cooper and her husband Kenneth. Cherished Pop-Pop of Callie, Emily, Keagan and Brooke "Bo". Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Kiernan, his parents, Mark B. Kiernan Sr., Gertrude M. Kiernan, and his brothers Mark B. Kiernan, Jr. and Vincent Paul Kiernan.
Family will receive friends at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 4 to 8 pm with a PGCVFRA Memorial Service at 7 pm. Family will receive friends at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 4902 Berwyn Road College Park, MD 20740 from 10 to 11 am with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 am on Thursday, May 8, 2025 with interment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jimmy's memory to BHVFD Annual Fund Drive, 8811 60th Avenue, Berwyn Heights, MD 20740.
