On September 20, 2007, Joseph Robert Sherman, a resident of Laurel, Maryland, passed away at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of the late Pat Sherman; father of Bob and his wife Debbie McMullan; Donna and her husband Steve McMahon and Anna and her husband Don Hall; grandfather of Julie, Sean, Ryan, Erin and Kathleen; great-grandfather of Harper, Quinn and Rowyn; uncle of Jim Bonner. Mr. Sherman was preceded in death by his brother, William Newton Sherman and two grandsons, Ike Hall and Jason Hale. On Monday, September 24, 2007, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. the family will welcome friends at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, Maryland, where services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Maryland.
