Joyce Dockendorf

It is with great sadness that the family of Joyce Marie Dockendorf of Rosedale, MD must announce her passing.

On November 11, 2021 our beloved gained her wings. She was 80 years young.

Joyce is survived by her son George K. Stepanian Jr. and daughters Tracey Denise Stepanian and Kerri Michelle Deshazo. Grandsons Todd Michael and Ryan Michael Stepanian, granddaughter Megan DelGrosso and three adorable great-granddaughters Isabelle, Carly, and a newborn, Savannah, of whom she hasn’t met.

Her love of family describes her best. She enjoyed special times with her brother Philip Dockendorf of Frederick, his wife Mary Ann, and their children Joseph, Allison, Steve, and Amy. Also her loving sister Dolores Anne Guasp of Williamsport. You all meant the world to her.

Joyce was originally from Riverdale and graduated from St. Vincent Pallotti High School in 1959.

Everyone who met her loved her, including animals. She was a very special lady indeed.

She is preceeded in death by her mother, Katherine Angela Guasp and father, William Peter Dockendorf.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
