On October 2, 2008, at the age of 91, Julia went home to be with her Lord. Beloved mother of David, Ruth, John, Andrew, Mary and Esther. Grandmother to 14 (Bridget, Beth, Angie, Leda, Julia, James, Rachel, Sarah, Jimmy, Andrea, Lydia, Josh, Halyna and Laryssa), great-grandmother of 15. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph, of 50 years. She is survived by six of 14 siblings. She graduated from Longwood Teaching College in 1936 then went on to Lynchburg Business School. From there she went to work for VA Steel Company in Richmond. She came to Washington, D.C. in 1942 where she met her husband at Washington Bible College. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her and whose lives will forever be changed for the good because of her. Friends and family may visit at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Colmar Manor Bible Church, 4110 Newton Street, Colmar Manor, MD where a service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
