Kathleen Klein

On Monday, May 9, 2011 departed this life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Ralph Joseph Klein. Born on the frontier of Western Canada, she met her husband in Goose Bay, Labrador. They later married in Montreal. After living in Europe, they settled in Maryland where they raised a family of four children. Both she and her husband had long careers at the University of Maryland. She is survived by her children, Peter, Christopher, David and Maureen Klein; grandchildren, Ursula, Eva, Connor and Gavin; great grandchildren, Kieran, Jonathan and Olivia. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 12 from 7 to 9 pm at GASCH'S FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 13 at 12:30 pm at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
