Kevin Batson, Sr

Kevin Andrew Batson, Sr., 54, died September 15, 2010 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD. A proud member of Local 100 Sheet Metal Workers and employed by United Sheet Metal. A resident of Broomes Island, formerly of Mt. Rainier. He is survived by his wife, Carla D. Batson; three sons, Kevin A. Batson, II, Daniel C. Batson and Marcus L. Middleton and daughter, Katrina L. Batson; his father, Paul A. Batson; two sisters, Judy M. (Richard) Blanken and Loretta P. (Chris) Fagnani; three brothers, Christopher P. (Yvonne) Batson, Eric D. (Brenda K.) Batson and Eugene E. Batson; two grandchildren, Robert L. Baldwin, Jr. and Trent L. Batson. He is also survived by his former wife, Katherine L. Jones and many nieces and nephews. Kevin was predeceased by his mother, Patricia A. Batson and brother, Philip A. Batson. The family will receive friends at GASCH'S FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD on Wednesday, September 22 from 10 am to noon with a service to begin at noon. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 11331 Amherst Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902.
