Lemuel Clarence Partain, Jr., age 57, of Bowie, MD, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 13, 2020. Mr. Partain was born November 1, 1962 in Washington, DC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lemuel Sr. and Doris Partain. Mr. Partain leaves behind his son, Nicholas Bolton, and daughter, Shawn Partain, along with his grandson, Jonathan. He also leaves a younger sister, Teresa Arnold, and a younger brother, Steve Partain, as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Partain grew up in Roger's Heights, MD and graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1980. He went on to complete HVAC certification before joining the Elevator Union, where he worked as an Elevator Mechanic for 35 years. Mr Partain enjoyed building and riding Harley Davidsons. He trophied in the World of Wheels several years in a row. He enjoyed fishing and boating with friends.
Please join us in remembering the life and times of Mr. Partain. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 3 to 7 pm at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 25th at 10 am at Maryland National Memorial Park, Laurel, MD. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 26th from 2 to 6 pm at the American Legion in Bowie, 9605 Old Laurel Bowie Rd., Bowie, MD 20720. Special thanks to Ledos in Bowie for catering, Scott, Colleen and Meagan. Cash bar. Plenty of outdoor space and tables. Motorcycles welcome.
