Lynn Hawkins

Lynn Thomas Hawkins (Age 66) of College Park, MD passed away peacefully on May 31st, 2022. Lynn was born on August 5, 1955 to the late Ernest and Mary Ann Thomas. Beloved wife of Leslie Hawkins, mother to Emily La Pilla, and grandmother to Madeline and Owen La Pilla. Lynn is also survived by her sister, Cynthia Tucker, many in laws, a cousin and an aunt.

Lynn taught kindergarten at Holy Redeemer School in College Park for 27 years and received the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2011. She was a talented artist and gardener, contributing her time and talents to the Holy Redeemer craft group for many years.

A funeral Mass will be held June 11, 11:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in College Park, MD. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice.
