Margaret Elizabeth Eubank, better known as Peggy, passed from this life to the next on November 27, 2023. Peggy was born on December 18, 1947, in Washington, D.C., to Giles Garland Eubank and Anne Mary (MacDonald) Eubank. She was a lifelong resident of Prince George’s County, and graduated from High Point High School. Peggy was predeceased by her parents, Giles Garland and Anne Mary Eubank. She is survived by her sister, Joanne Jordan, her nieces, Heather Clark (Brian) and Kristen McDonald (Paul), and her grandnieces and grandnephews, Jordan Alexander, David Alexander, Jonathan Clark, and Giles McDonald. If you knew Peggy, you knew she loved her friends and family, her books, her coffee, and every single animal she ever set eyes on. Because of her dedication to helping the stray cat population of Hyattsville, we humbly ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George’s County, 3750 Brown Station Rd., Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 in her honor. Nothing would make her happier than to know she was still helping cats to get spayed and kittens to find homes. We will miss her light, her laughter, and her love.
