Beloved mother and friend, entered eternal life peacefully on February 11 at Hillhaven Assisted Living in Adelphi, MD. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Aurelius M. (Freddy) Federighi. Survived by her devoted daughters Stana Federighi (Jack Kinkaid) of Arlington, VA and Meg Crimmins (Don) of Greenbelt, MD; nephews, Stephen McCann, of Salisbury, MD, and Charles Slifko, of Dallas, TX; and other relatives. Long-time resident of Hyattsville and College Park. Active parishioner of St. Jerome's Catholic Church, and school secretary from 1964 to 1972. Retired from Federal Service as a Contracting Director for USDA in 1987.
Friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Thursday, February 18 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 5205 43rd Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Friday, February 19 at 10 a.m. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Saturday, February 20 at 11:00 am.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Hillhaven for their compassionate care and loving community which sustained them over the last five years.
