Margaret Hines

On August 17, 2013, Margaret Helen Fryer Hines, 89, of Cheverly, MD, died peacefully at Arbor Ridge at Riderwood Village. A native Washingtonian, she was born to George and Florence Fryer and graduated from Central High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Widmire Hines, who she married April 25, 1946, and her sister, Dorothy, who died in 1972. Mrs. Hines retired from government service August 31, 1974, after working 23 years in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Pentagon. She is survived by her son, Stephen (Barbara). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gladys Noon Spellman Elementary School, 3324 64th Avenue, Cheverly, MD 20785. Graveside service will be private.
