On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, Margaret M. McKnew passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Arthur M. McKnew. Loving mother of Mark T. (Ginny) McKnew, Colleen McKnew, Michael A. (Susan) McKnew, Marguerite D. Pippen, Daniel P. (Barbara) McKnew, Frank A. (Dalena) McKnew and Susan A. (Michael) Adams. Cherished grandmother of 27 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Devoted sister of Patricia Corcoran. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her children David and Noralee as well as her son-in-law Robert Pippen and grandson Daniel McKnew. Family and friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue Hyattsville, MD on Sunday, October 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 5700 St. Bernard's Drive, Riverdale Park, MD 20737. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Bernard's, St. Vincent DePaul Society at the address listed above.
