After almost 2 years of fighting pancreatic cancer, our mom has finally found her rest. Now that our time with her has come to an end, we want to share with you all a little bit about her and her journey.
She was born to a large family in Puebla, Mexico. As a young girl, she knew she wanted more in life, and against the odds she made her way to America, where she built her American dream. She worked all her life to provide for her family and took the time to enjoy the world around her. Our mom was passionate for the beach, whether winter or summer you could always find her at the beach enjoying the sand and the warm breeze. She also had a passion for running and committed herself to taking on countless 5k-10k runs regularly. She wasnt running from life, she was running towards it. Once she found herself ready to start her next chapter, life had different plans and she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
She leaves behind 3 children, 2 bonus children, 7 grandchildren, and all her family in Mexico, as well as many friends. To all who knew her, she was a kind person and loved any opportunity to spend time with her family and friends. She always welcomed all into her home with open arms and loved the opportunity to host everyone.
Our mom's love for the water has allowed us to create beautiful memories that will be cherished forever.
She will always be in our hearts with every seashell we find and the splash of a wave.
