Marie Barbara Brown

Marie Barbara Brown, born January 27, 1971, of Silver Spring passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 54. She is preceded in death by her mother, Frances L. Talven, father, Rueben Talven, Jr. and brother, Maurice F. Talven. Marie had a great sense of humor, loved traveling to her favorite city, Atlantic City, New Jersey, where she often took vacations. She loved being a CNA, taking care of the elderly. She attended DC public schools: McKinley Tech and Luke C. Moore Academy. Marie is survived by her only daughter, Maria Talven, grandson, Rolando J. Coney, Jr., and granddaughter, Mariah R. Etey-Benissan. She has two living sisters, Christina E. Talven and Geneva F. Green. Following her nieces and nephews, Derrick G. Talven, Andre E. Talven, Kelly C. Talven, Kevon R. Talven and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
