Mary Johnson

On Thursday, July 17, 2008 of Tilghman Island, MD, formerly of Hyattsville, MD. Terry is survived by her husband, Bob of 47 years; her chldren, Bobby (Laurie), Mary Lou, Bridget Hilligoss and five granddaughters, Jaclynn, Kathy, Brittany, Allie and Emily. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Jean Reichelt, Ann Payne, George, Patty Wilkinson, Chris, Beth Urban and Joseph, and her godmother, Aunt Theresa Madden. Terry was Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Hyattsville and a 30 year member and past president of Maryland Recreation and Parks Association (MRPA). She served on the Democratic State Central Committee and the Maryland State House of Delegates. Friends may call on family Sunday, July 20, 2008 at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 5205 43rd Avenue, Hyattsville, MD 20781 from 4 to 8 p.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 21 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Washington, DC, Those who wish, may make memorial contributions in her name to St. Jerome's Catholic Church.
