Michael Anthony Sanes Garner

It is with great sadness and much love that the family of Michael Anthony Sanes Garner “Big Mike,” “Michael GG” announces his passing on Thursday, June 24, 2021, in College Park, Maryland, where he resided with his wife Amanda and family.

In Washington DC, Michael was born on April 17, 1975, to Ms. Suzanne Garner and Mr. Ellie Sanes. Michael is survived by his wife Amanda Garner, his children Kimberly “Lil Kim,” “MaMa,” Allison, Makayla, Temi, and Chase; his parents Suzanne Garner and Ellie Sanes; his sisters Tracy (Robert) and Rhonda (Reginald); his stepsiblings Patricia (Larry), Sylvia (Alexander), Kevin (Robin), and Jacqueline; his favorite niece, Alexis and nephews Christopher, Little Reggie, and Gabriel.  Michael also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his beloved stepmother Mildred Wilson and many other loved ones.

Michael’s favorite past times were eating, sleeping, and telling entertaining stories to his wife.  He enjoyed watching Law and Order with his mother and getting on his sister Tracy's nerves by calling her by her middle name whenever they would speak and having her watch the silliest shows or movies such as Little Nicky or South Park.  He also cherished his time spent with his loving aunt Carrie May. He was a diehard fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kevin Durant.   He recently enjoyed time on his honeymoon with his soulmate and new wife in Ocean City. Michael loved God, family, life and was at peace with himself and everyone he loved.
