Michael (Mike) Acton Sr.

Michael (Mike) Wayne Acton, Sr, 60, born on April 29, 1959 to the late Walter and Margaret Acton, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, September 8, 2019, in Riverdale, MD.  He is survived by his wife, Debra, brother, Steven and his wife, Sue, son, Michael, and stepdaughter, Shannon, as well as three grandsons, a granddaughter, two great-grandchildren, and two nephews.

Most will remember Mike for his love of music, bowling and always being quick with a joke.  He loved watching football, baseball and NASCAR.  Mike loved playing video games in his spare time, which was not very often.  He enjoyed spending time with his family as often as possible.  He will also be remembered as a hardworking man, and he loved his job and co-workers.  His Culligan truck was a staple at the house.  There will not be a day that goes by that Mike will not be missed by friends and family, including his beloved kitty.

Services for Mike will be held at Gasch’s Funeral Home on Sunday, September 22, 2019.  Family will be welcome from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.  There will be a public viewing from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm the same day.  At 2:00 pm, we will have remarks and eulogy.  The reception will be held at Branchville Fire House from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
