Myrtle Higgs

On May 19, 2008 of Lanham, Maryland, died peacefully. She was born on February 21, 1915. She was the wife of the late Charles D. Higgs, and the mother of the late Charles Ronnie Higgs. She was one of 16 siblings who all preceded her in death. Survived by many nieces and nephews, including Edward Minor and his wife, Betty, of Berlin, Maryland, Patricia Reese of Dover, Pennsylvania, and Linda Jester and her husband, Phil, of Owings, Maryland. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews and her loving neighbors, Dianne and Richard Kagle. Her nephew, Melvin Minor of College Park, Maryland preceded her in death. Family and friends are invited to share in Ms. Higgs' Life Celebration at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, Maryland on Thursday, May 29 from 10 a.m. until noon. A short Funeral Service will be held immediately following the viewing. Interment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, Maryland.
