Patricia Little

It is with great sadness and much love that the family of Patricia Anne Little announces her peaceful sudden passing on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021, due to complications from a brain tumor. Patti resided in Hyattsville, MD.

Beloved wife of Greg. Loving mother of Kelly, Caitlin Thompson (Daniel), Tommy (Kelly), Jacob, Max, and Lizzie. Loving daughter of Ann Marie and Charles Tarbrake and sister of Kevin (Mary), Charlie (Missey), Chris (Socrates), Katie, and David. Loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her father Charles, her sister Katie, and her children Kelly and Max.

Patti was a dedicated nurse and caregiver who was well known in the community as “Mrs”. She spent the majority of her life raising the children of the neighborhood and caring for the developmentally disabled. Patti’s greatest joy was being with her children, especially in the Outer Banks. Her sudden loss will be felt deeply by so many.

A visitation will be held at St. Andrew Apostle Church, 11600 Kemp Mill Road, Silver Spring, MD 20902 on Saturday, May 29th, 2021 at 11:00 am followed by a Memorial Mass at 12:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be considered to GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis (129 Lubrano Drive, Suite L104 Annapolis MD 21401) or to fund Lizzie’s education and caregiving expenses. Contributions, along with notes of sympathy to any of the Little family, may be sent c/o Caitlin Thompson, 7714 Lakecrest Drive, Greenbelt, MD 20770 to be distributed accordingly.
