Paul Serey

On Saturday, March 14, Paul Reynolds Serey
passed away at home after a long illness. He
was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on October
24, 1917. He gave our country 50 years of
service during World War II and in a long career
at the U.S. Department of State. Beloved
husband of Annabelle T. Serey. Devoted father
of Paul Reynolds Serey and Mary Ellen Serey.
He is survived by Ann, his wife of 61 years;
his children; his daughter-in-law Betsy Brown;
his granddaughter Rebecca Serey; and his
granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Carolyn
and Christian Ehn. The family will receive
friends on Wednesday, March 18, at GASCH'S
FUNERAL HOME P.A., 4739 Baltimore Ave.,
Hyattsville, MD, from 2 to 4 p.m. Mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated at St.
Ambrose Catholic Church, 3107 63rd Ave.,
Cheverly, MD at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March
19. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Washington,
D.C.
