Paula Josephine Windsor, 84, passed away suddenly on the evening of September 27th, 2022. She was born August 18th, 1938 in Washington, D.C. as an only child to Julia Cecelia Daley and Paul Ashton Roser. She moved to Greenbelt where she lived, on and off, for almost 40 years. She is survived by her children, Paul Ashton Beavers, David Joseph Windsor, Katherine (husband Bernie) Ann Windsor Trenary, Michael Christopher Windsor (Deceased), and Debra Lee Windsor Owens. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Beavers, Alexis Beavers, Joshua Windsor, Renee Stark, Danielle Johnson, Jaclyn Windsor, Elliott Trenary, and Jayden Owens as well as numerous great grandchildren.
Paula was a faithful member of St. Hugh of Grenoble Church. She spent her working years as a typist at the U.S Navy Yard in D.C. In her spare time, she enjoyed going out to eat, going on cruises with her longtime friends, Dianne Middledorf and Kevin Payne, spending time with her close friend Carole Siegel, completing crossword puzzles, and playing Scrabble – even if she was playing against herself.
Funeral Mass: Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hugh of Grenoble Church, 135 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD.
Cemetery: Gate of Heaven, burial service to follow funeral mass.
A luncheon will follow the burial service at The Greenbelt American Legion, 6900 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt, MD, around 1:30 pm.
