On Friday, April 15, 2011, Petrona "Nila" Perdomo passed away peacefully. Loving wife to the late Vicente Perdomo. Nila has been a resident of Hyattsville for 45 years and formerly of Washington, D.C. She is survived by four children, Ernesto (Cynthia), Emilio, Carlos (Mary) and Josie (George); seven grandchildren, Chrissy, Lisa, Jessie, Tony, Carlos, Jr., Elena and Guierllmo; and one great grandson, Alex. She is also survived by one brother, Ernesto. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at GASCH'S FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD where a funeral will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD. Memorial contributions may be made in Nila's name to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309 and/or American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
