Ralph Cochran, Sr

Mr. Cochran, Sr., of Beltsville, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Maryland. He was the beloved husband of 75 years to Mrs. Helen Cochran and a devoted father to his children, Joan Collins and her companion Butch Maxwell, Bernie and his wife Barbara Cochran, Ron and his wife Theresa Cochran and the late Ralph Eugene Cochran, Jr. He is also survived by seven brothers and sisters, 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. After a long career with Safeway Food Stores he retired in 1976. He drove for both the bakery and produce departments and received an award to recognize 35 years of safe and careful driving.

On Friday, November 2, 2007, friends will be received at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the Little Chapel at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, Maryland at 1:30 p.m.
