Ramonchito “Chito” Loyzaga Tayag of Bowie, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, October 2nd 2019, at the age of 67.
Chito is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sylvia Tayag (née Santamaria) ; beloved son, Daniel (Rachel); caring mother, Teresita Tayag; siblings Norberto Tayag (Dana) and Rowena Reodica; as well as many cherished sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Chito was born in Manila, Philippines, immigrated to the United States in the 1970’s and became an American citizen in 1995. He was a dedicated contractor for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, in Greenbelt, MD, for over 40 years. Chito enjoyed music and cinema, particularly science-fiction; he was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins. He will be deeply missed by friends, family, and colleagues.
Visitation will be held at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Saturday, October 12th from 11am to 4pm, with reception to follow. Private interment will take place at a later date.
