Richard John Galentine, 55, sadly passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at UM Charles Regional Medical Center, in La Plata, MD with his daughters, Andrea and Suzanne, and sister Carol by his side.

Richard was born on June 10, 1966, in Cheverly, Prince Georges, MD to Clarence and Helen Galentine. He lived in White Plains, Waldorf, Mechanicsville, and Indian Head, Maryland. Rick loved animals, especially bald eagles, music, and all things outdoors--camping, hunting, hiking, fishing, and landscaping. He had a great personality and was very comical. He will be dearly missed.

Richard is survived by his loving daughters, Andrea M. (Joseph) Vasquez, Suzanne E. Galentine; siblings, Ronald R. Galentine, Michael S. (Penny) Galentine, Tina M. (Skip) Swann, Carol D. (Glenn) Jones; grandchildren, Vincenzo B. Vasquez and Sofia M. Vasquez; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Rick is preceded in death by his son, Richard “Ricky” Frank Galentine; parents, Helen C. Galentine and Clarence R. Galentine; and a host of pets.
