Rita Beavers

Rita Ann Beavers of Brentwood, MD and Hedgesville, WV, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020.  Beloved wife to Daniel Beavers Sr. for 56 years, loving mother to Daniel (Melissa) Beavers Jr. of Hedgesville, WV and Tina (Joey) Beavers-Dettmer of Huntingtown, MD.  Grandma to Danielle Pettit (Dustin Hyatt), Amanda (Adam) Hitchcock, Daniel Beavers III and Dylan Beavers.  MaMa to Zoe and Kylee Dettmer.  Great Grandma to Connor, Chase, and Chesney Hyatt.  Sister to Phyllis “Cookie” Poole and Joyce (Wayne) Beavers.  Preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Lillian Jackson, sister Baby Phyllis and brothers, James “Bubby” and Francis “Sonny” Jackson.

Rita enjoyed her time with family camping at the beach in her camper as well as time at her West Virginia house.  She was drawn to the beauty of nature.  While at the beach, she was amazed by the captivating sunrises and sunsets over the bay.  She always fed the ducks and loved sitting on her deck watching the kids play, fish jump, and birds flying overhead.  During the winter months, she loved watching the beautiful snow fall in the mountains.  As well as, seeing the geese at her pond and deer in her yard.

Rita loved spending time with her grandchildren, they were her world.  She always attended all their events.  She adored her cat, Fluffy, which has been in her life for 20 plus years.  She did everything she could to help everyone, way more than she was ever expected to.  She was the light of the holidays and always kept her traditions.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
