Robert Paul Felesky, 52, of Bladensburg, MD, died at home surrounded by family on March 16, 2011, due to complications from a bone marrow transplant. He was born September 3, 1958 in Washington, DC, the son of the late Norma Martin and Robert J. Felesky. Bobby was the oldest of 5 children. He graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1977. He served four years in the US Air force as a Senior Airman until March 1982. After his discharge, he joined the Sheet Metal Workers Local 100 where he served for 29 years. Bobby established himself in his own right as a one-of-a-kind harmonica player. He was an avid blues lover and extraordinary harmonica player. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Brenda K. Felesky; his dear stepmother Joan Felesky of Mechanicsville, two daughters, Ashley Marie and Chelsea Leigh Felesky of Bladensburg; grandchild Ryan Carter Blake of Bladensburg; sister Linda Carpenter, brothers Daniel Martin and Anthony Martin, and many other family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Michael Felesky. A gathering will be held at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD 20781 on Thursday, March 24 from 5 to 7 pm where a memorial service will immediately follow. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, Md 21401
