Robert McMullan

On February 17, 2021, Robert Thomas McMullan, lovingly known as Bobby, Bob, and Hippo, a resident of Hyattsville, Maryland, passed away too soon at the young age of 67. He was the beloved brother of Anna Sherman-Hall and Donna McMahon, and partner of Debbie Lacy. Cousin of Jim Bonner; father of Jade the cat and stepfather of Julie. Pop-Pop to Anthony, Lacy, and Faith. Uncle to Ryan, Erin, Kathleen, Norman, and numerous grand-nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his loving mother and father, Mary Patricia and Joseph Robert Sherman, stepson, Jason Hale, and nephew, Sean McMahon.

Hippo left countless friends who will remember his humor, kindness, and unselfish willingness to help anyone in need. His favorite things were his family, his close friends (you know who you are), his cat, NASCAR, mowing grass, and time spent with the boys in West Virginia.

Due to COVID, we will memorialize and celebrate Bobby’s life as soon as it is safe to gather.
