Robert Motley, Jr.

Robert H. Motley (Bobby) a long-time resident of Greenbelt, MD, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. He was a devoted Husband to Susan Motley; beloved brother to Ronald and Billie Motley; loving father to Kierstin Motley, Theresa Boyle, Arlene Weiss, Angela Soule, Jimmy Soule, and John Soule. Bobby adored his many grandchildren, Nick Fulton, Morgan Fulton, Joseph Soule, and Timmy Soule. Also, great grandchildren Cameron Soule, Caleb Soule, and Liam Fulton.

Born on April 26, 1942 to Nancy Motley in Staunton, Virginia. Bobby served in the Armed forces, Vietnam, from 1964 – 1968. He was a gifted guitar player and even played in a band when he was younger.

Bobby was the kindest, most caring person. He will be greatly missed. We love you Dad!

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life on Father’s Day to honor Bobby.
