Ruth Fetterolf

Ruth Arletta Fetterolf, born March 20,1926, went home to her Savior on August 22, 2022. She was born in Crestwell, PA to the late Harry I. Carmichael and Mary Alma (Eppley). She gave her life to Christ at the age of six and faithfully walked with her Lord for 90 years. An evangelist at heart, she never allowed anyone she came in contact with to leave her presence without hearing the gospel.

She loved to sing the great hymns of faith and often would break out in song. Ruth was a woman who strongly believed in prayer. Through the years she taught Sunday School and Awanas, worked in the nursery of her church, sang in the choir, and supported missionaries financially.

Ruth was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Paul, sister Phyline Adams, and brother Harry I. Carmichael Jr.  She leaves behind her sons, David (Pat), and Daniel, and daughter Donna (Gary).  She was a cheerleader for her 3 children, 11 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

The service for Ruth will be held at United Baptist Church, 7701 Riverdale Road, New Carrolton, MD 20784.  The service will be livestreamed at UnitedBaptist.org.
